Friends of the River

Friends of the River (FOR-KC) was incorporated in November 2002. FOR-KC is a not-for-profit organization created to promote awareness and public use of the Riverfront throughout the metropolitan area. The organization addresses a wide variety of interests including history and education; conservation; recreation and entertainment. FOR-KC works to create a more vibrant Riverfront today and a more vibrant region in the future. The KCRiverFest is FOR-KC's annual fundraising event.
