All About KCRiverFest
Since 2005, KCRiverFest has been recognized as Kansas City’s premier Independence Day Festival on the Missouri River. Hosted and organized by the Friends of the River-KC (FOR-KC) and produced by EventPros Inc., KCRiverFest at Richard L. Berkley Park is known as the only place in downtown Kansas City to celebrate the Fourth of July with spectacular fireworks, amazing food, exciting carnival rides and games, and world-class family entertainment. Who, or what, is Friends of the River-KC? Incorporated in November 2002, FOR-KC is a not-for-profit organization created to promote awareness and public use of the Riverfront throughout the metropolitan area. The organization addresses a wide variety of interests including history and education; conservation; recreation and entertainment. FOR-KC works to create a more vibrant Riverfront today and a more vibrant region in the future. | ![]() ![]() |
